Our maintenance plans perform service on equipment to ensure they are working effectively to maximum performance and prolong its life.
FPL and Klima Mechanical have partnered to assist you in qualifying for FPL rebates when you replace
your current HVAC (Heating, Cooling, and Air Conditioning) system with a new high-efficiency air conditioner. As an
FPL Participating Indipendent Contractor, we can assist you in choosing an indoor or outdoor A/C unit that is eligible for
rebates, saving you money on the up-front costs of purchase and installation. These high-efficiency units may be
slightly more expensive to purchase and install, but will save you money in the long run. They are more eco-friendly
and have a higher Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER).
Additionally, Klima Mechanical can help you get rebates on Indoor Air Quality Services (IAQ)—A/C duct repair,
replacement, and sealing.
Partnership Eligibility
How did we receive the distinction of FPL Participating Independent Contractor? FPL Participating Indipendent Contractors must
be licensed in the State of Florida and comply with all government codes, ordinances, statutes, and accepted
engineering practices. Participating Indipendent Contractors are also required to process rebate certificates and correct
installation deficiencies in a timely manner. Our ductwork is certified by FPL, and we strictly adhere to FPL’s
standards for duct repairs.
Program/Equipment Eligibility
• The new air conditioning system must be a high-efficiency A/C unit. Both indoor HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and
Air Conditioning) systems and outdoor air conditioners are included.
• The new A/C system must have a minimum SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating) of 14.
• The new air conditioner must be purchased through an FPL Participating Independent Contractor.
Rebates are also provided for A/C duct system repairs, when the work is done by an FPL Participating Independent
Contractor.
